After 29 long months, I can finally announce that I am once again “WorkingMom2Three”!!!
Today is my first day at my new job. I’m so excited and happy, I can hardly stand it.
I realized that this is only my 4th first day in my whole life (not counting high school jobs). And it’s been 23 years since my last “first day”. Things haven’t changed too much – lots of paperwork to complete, orientation, a new computer . . .
. . . and coffee! As you may remember from my travel mug post, my sister gave me the travel mug pictured above for my birthday just after I was laid off. I decided that I would wait to use it for my new job. I never imagined that it would be more than two years later! Ironically, I’ll be working from home part of the time, so no travel needed. Still, this mug will keep my coffee hot, and prevent me from spilling it all over myself.
I hope that I’ll be able to get back to writing more blog posts, but I’m going to be very busy with the new job. Stay tuned, because I’m going to be trying some new approaches to staying organized, and I’ll be sharing them with you.
